This is a late news but I just found out that Posh! The Prince (born as Francois Ronique Veira) already passed away last Dec 10, 2024. :(

Context for new gen fans:

For all the 2010 shows, Posh played Tamborine and was also a character (as himself) in the storyline of The Monster Ball. His role was taken over by Victor Rojas in 2011 with Ian McKenzie puppeteering The Fame Monster (angler fish) during "Paparazzi".

Posh fit so well with the MB sotryline. He's in his own lane vibing with the tambourine and all. It sucks that he wasnt able to be part of the HBO special.

Share your stories/best memory of him onthis thread to honor a fallen angel.

He was also the inspiration for Posh Life! The song is inspired by his coming out and being made homeless by his parents because they were religious.

RIP legend you are sorely missed and are a core memory for us who went to the show.

oh... I didn't know this. I loved how much acting from the dancers she included during the Monster Ball.

He was essential to the MB!

Period. 2011 MB was never the same without his energy and tambourines :(

This thread isn’t getting nearly enough attention. 😔 POSH! was not only an essential piece of The Monster Ball, he was one of Gaga’s good friends in the earliest days of her career—we’re talking pre-The Fame. What a terrible loss, may he Rest in Peace.

Rest in power, Prince Posh! I remember seeing him radiate freedom and glamour on countless Monster Ball fan recordings
