Ed Sheeran to sign with Interscope Records, Zara Larsson with RCA

Ed Sheeran is set to ink a new deal with Interscope Records, Rolling Stone has confirmed. The news was also confirmed by by HDD, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard.

The deal is said to be a longterm arrangement, but it’s unclear how many albums the contract includes.

 

Zara Larsson has left her decade-plus home at Epic Records and signed with RCA Records, Variety can confirm.

Larsson was entertaining offers from multiple labels but that Sony, which houses subsidiaries Epic and RCA, wanted to keep her on the roster, so they worked out a deal for her to be on RCA.

I just associate RCA as a career grave yard at this point. So many of my favorite artist are/were on there and their careers kinda just... Didn't go anywhere until they left.
