Murakami27 5,990
These photos are just awful. And the makeup looks dusty and clumpy. I don’t know who approved any of this. The billboards look depressing as hell. 2

It was during the period where she was not doing anything about the election. she also doesn’t seem to want to be famous apparently but then does ad campaigns and somehow had the time for this. Eh, I can’t say I blame her re: politics as a popstar. She came out against the genocide, got mountains of **** for it from moderate Dems, tacitly endorsed voting for Harris and got **** from leftists for “promoting genocide” and from moderates for “not doing enough.” As far as the fame thing is concerned, we are currently on a forum dedicated to a pop star who once called fame “a prison,” so I personally extend the same grace to Chappell as I do to Gaga on that one in the sense that it’s complicated to both want to be a performer, but to be constantly put in the position of being treated like a product or an object. I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think I necessarily agree entirely. Chappell has been somewhat of a hypocrite on numerous occasions. The difference with Gaga I think is she is eloquent with her statement and I think that’s why people give her grace (we are also biased on this site as we skew towards Gaga.) Im not saying Gaga hasn’t been a hypocrite, she definitely has, but I dunno I think she just presents herself better. I know not everyone has that gift to express themselves eloquently, but Chapelle comes off as tone deaf at times. I’ve not the biggest fan of Chapelle Roan since then. But wtf do I know? I’m just another person talking to the void. We can agree to disagree. Edited Tuesday at 06:07 PM by HotLikeMexico
