Famous Songs You Almost Forgot Exist

I will say that there's a huge number of older songs that just suddenly come into my consciousness that I haven't heard or thought about in years and I wonder: "has the rest of the world forgotten about them too?" So I look up the YouTube video and it literally has billions of views and millions of likes and I wonder who's still actively listening to this. There are some songs that were by one hit wonders or a "song of its time" and yet, people are still apparently checking it on YouTube. Some of them, like All About That Bass and On The Flooor, have slowed down immensely, others like Taki Taki, Despacito and Waka Waka are still pulling in views and likes like crazy and I wonder who's still actively listening to songs that were just very "of the moment" and I forgot about them after a year or two. I suppose a lot of them still go hard in the clubs.

And not quite the same thing, but when I heard Kim Wilde's version of You Keep Me Hangin' On on a random playlist, I was so blown away by how much better it was than the Supremes original, that I temporarily forgot the original existed! I thought the lyrics sounded familiar but couldn't place them and felt so daft when I realised!
