I mean I've seen some claim the necklace actually had 12 lightning bolts on but it's been pulled from the store and it doesn't appear to have shipped so who ****ing knows at this point. 

But on the "everything she does is intentional" narrative, it's great for her PR. But my eras tour show had a 10 minute window where the main screen and the stage floor screen were broke and weren't showing the final 2 songs stuff. It happened at a few other shows in Europe, everyone was convinced it was a deliberate glitch for Rep TV. And it was actually just software failures lol 
So she definitely has her **** ups. She just says nothing and fans spend 10 years debating the meaning lol

I truly think she was trying to convey the "I hope our kids look like you" concept, but she's on a streak of trying to overcomplicate her lyrics and its just ****ing them up. 
Like the whole furor over the line about going back in time but without the racism - it actually makes a somewhat smart point in the verse as a whole but the writing is just clunky as ****. 

If she truly is America's english teacher as some swifties have tried to make happen - we have found the reason for the bad literacy rates.

Kinda my point there. Swifties will claim a screen glitch is proof of an album coming but when randos start seeing swastikas on her albums, Nazi symbolism in her merch, and racist dogwhistling in her lyrics then suddenly "it's a reach, don't be silly"  

The reality is her merch team is clearly inept and she's terrified of marring her forced image by acknowledging something like this. And yes, her lyrics are terrible  

BUT, again, I'm not affording an iota of grace to a billionaire  her name is on this stuff, she can either clean it up or we can continue to think she endorses it or doesn't care enough to say otherwise.

I personally say it's a reach because in this day and age, Nazis aren't quiet about it. And they haven't been for 10 years nearly.

If she was truly a Nazi or deliberately putting Nazi symbolism into her merch (and the necklace is the only potential evidence of this - that midnights album thing just shows the believers were homeschooled, anyone who went to a predominantely white school knows anything can be turned into a Swastika if the jocks try hard enough) then she'd have to actually be a Nazi.
nd no Nazi would have gone against Trump in 2020 or 2024, they'd have just stayed silent the entire time. Like as much as people wanted her to speak up in 2020 before she did, if she didn't nothing would have changed for her brand. She spoke up, and as a result will never be accepted by the MAGA movement/the modern Nazis so I just don't think you ascribe any actual malice. 

As for the dogwhistling neighbourhood lyric, which I do think is just **** wordsmanship by an egotistical starlet, the Opalite stuff just falls apart at a cursory skim read by anyone who understands the English language.

Playing devils advocate, Taylor is known for paying an extreme attention to details and easter eggs. Every single thing she does has been 100% thought out. Easter eggs are thought out years in advance. Soooooo this could very well be intentional or just a one time thing she accidentally missed. Which i find hard to believe since shes so involved in every single thing she does. Its not hard to just turn the albums around and see what it looks like from that view.
