Tbh I think one variant is enough, otherwise I think the album starts lacking visual identity (in most cases). That said, it’s Taylor’s choice to do that and she forces no one to buy the variants. People just need to admit that she’s the best selling artist and that’s it, no matter how many variants she puts out. Even if Gaga released 500 variants of MAYHEM, it would’ve never debuted with a million copies sold.
