Interscope would not lift a finger for WILDFLOWER which actually blew up, they think they are about to release multiple singles from Mayhem like we are still in the digital era :icant:

I was looking that up the other day considering the success of Billies album. They didn’t release another single until January this year, they also didn’t do any physicals for BOAF until November limited to UO for singles day. It seems like Gaga isn’t the only one lol :fail:

Not to beat a dead horse, but I’m fed for a decade by Copacabana because that **** was incredible. Genuinely stunned that so many of y’all could watch something like that and say we got nothing.

Lowkey same here :vegas:

im genuinely confused by the "we got very little" comments regarding Mayhem album.

I would like a new MV but I'm ok if we get nothing. We've been through this before. And we survived.

PD: play Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 💋

of course gaga isn't the only one, singles are rapidly becoming a dated format, especially post album ones and even more so if the artist is an established mainstream act :messga:

financially, there's no point in having another single from mayhem unless a track actually organically takes off (eg BOAF) because they already made a tonne of money from the tour :messga:

streaming is killing music and labels are greedy :messga:

saying all of that as if we did not come from a two singles era with only one medley for performance and a short tour two years later is sending me

lms see some success and quickly forget where they come from!

Feeling hungry so i reacquainted with this jam from Chic and Gaga after hearing it in the club at Pride and at work.  It’s not new but loving it again. This is the full version I only heard the abridged one from the Tom Ford video.

well chromatica was meant to be a much bigger era but something big happened in 2020 :enigma:

lets not act like chromatica was a tiny pop era under regular circumstances when we know it was due to have much more such as coachella :enigma:

She did do substantial promotion. But I think the question is how much more can she/her team/the label do. And honestly, the album does have alot more promotional legs left in it to explore. But I think Gaga herself is shifting her focus more onto performance than promotion.

It baffles me a little how artists and labels are not seeing that post album releases and promotion helps in building the artist's legacy and feeds the fanbases which will benefit both the artist and labels in the long run. But money i suppose.

nah I'm just saying Mayhem is probably her first solo era since BTW that people outside the stan world are aware of

so acting like they are used to better is actually funny to me

If I have to be 200% honest:

- I feel like the album isn't that impactful because some songs broke the cohision so that DWAS blends in it. It's not a question anymore that DWAS wasn't planned for Mayhem, as Disease was named as a first single. So I truly think this album version of Mayhem isn't the original one and it shows because there is not no cohision for almost half of the songs.

- Abracadabra is the best Gaga single for over a decade and really rises the level of this era.

- The Coachella show is amazing for half of it, the second part feels rushed

- Gaga should release a third music video just for the pleasure of it, for the artistry, she won so much money over last year, she could, and we don't even expect an expensive music video. But I feel like she's very impacted by the charts and don't want to release a single that will flop..

- I feel like the Mayhem ball will be another big event for the album and I can't wait for it, it's a great thing because I feel like if there was no tour, it would be the end of the era already

- There will be no other hits for the album pushed by promo, if there is a mv or a single it will be for the fans. A new hit would naturally happen with tiktok
