princedeeblebleble 3,497
Honeymoon is a more cohesive and better overall produced experience, but I prefer the overall themes and mix of genres of LFL

Lucas 30,932
I would say that Lust For Life has higher highs and lower lows but Honeymoon as an entire body of work is better
Danny Milk 1,732
I love Honeymoon, probably her darkest album sonically and also enjoy it all the way through, l4l has some amazing songs but also a few skips for me I guess it doesn't really matter

Ladle Ghoulash 51,377
LFL, along with BB, is probably Lana’s worst record. Honeymoon, for sure. We have forgotten our public MANNERS
Mirrion Rizzons 12,646
L4L is her weakest album for me, alongside chemtrails. L4L has some of my favourites by her, such as cherry, heroin, and change, but also so many songs I find forgettable. Honeymoon however remains consistently top quality
Bling 31,669
Portions of L4L sound very dated tbh. I like a lot of the songs but it's a bit random at times, and a big chunk of the latter half of the album is very samey and mid imo. It would have been a stronger record as 12 or 13 tracks versus 16. Meanwhile Honeymoon is essentially timeless and perfect from start to finish over 14 tracks
spookytanooki 1,846
Lust for Life was such a unique, unexpected, genre-bending new sound for Lana, and it was the album that made me REALLY fall in love with her music. Then NFR! (aka the Holy Bible) really made me a stan (but not in a creepy way) Honeymoon has some great tracks, but it never truly gripped me. It felt like the natural successor to Ultraviolence, but it felt like more of a transition than anything else. Also, Honeymoon NEVER served anything like this: The Hollywood glamor and tragedy? The Twilight Zoniness of it all? Sold. Definitely not Chappell Roan
