I don't know you so its not personal. Your bs has been called out by more than just 2 people so.... yeah, not a personal thing. You did more than talk numbers and facts but we can pretend you weren't calling people pathetic for disagreeing with you. It may not feel like your issue but there's pretty clearly an issue with the way you decide to present yourself. But yes, let's get back on topic. Seems to me you are a bit upset ngl, you're making this way to personal IMO and I find it a bit funny cause i called it And since we keep talking about other topics (which you misrepresent ngl ), when people created a topic about Megyn Kelly criticizing beyonce for not speaking out against diddy I was the first to defend Beyonce I dont jump at any opportunity to criticize Beyonce despite what you might think. Now OT: This might be a oversight and I actually expect a statement from her apologizing or at least explaining the reasoning. I didn't touch on the outdated language at all, but I see how you could assume that. Thats my point though, you went as far as posting an article about outdated language pertaining to gagas lyrics but completely brushed it off when you were going so hard for beyonce in the first page.

White Mexicans like to use other words… let’s just say that. Idk about Mexican-Americans or people from northern states but most of us would not think of it as a slur. I named México specifically because that's what I saw on social media. There was a pop music forum from México where the #1 insult was "cholo/chola" 💀. And it was used by both caucasian and indigenous mexicans, as a slur . But then again, it was a "stan" forum, it might not be representative of mexican culture as a whole, that is true. I don't think I was going very hard for Beyoncé here tbh but I hear what you're saying! I wasn't trying to pile on Gaga; I spoke on it and posted the article because the person I replied to was trying to make the avoidance of using "orient-made" and "orient" relating to humans about the USA being too focused on race and that's 100% not the case. But because I didn't notice Beyoncé's mistake at first it does look like I brushed off her thing to drag Gaga's lyrics; you're right about that part. Thank you for explaining further. To be very clear where I stand about their respective uses of outdated language: both of them got caught slipping and neither occasion is justifiable. Neither of them should be crucified for blindspots in their use of the language unless one of them comes out trying to act like its completely chill. I’m positive Beyoncé does not agree with what is written, it's obvious that she would do things differently if she had read the text - if not for ethical, moral and humanitarian reasons (which I believe she has), then at least to protect her own image. While the term is not inherently racist, and as you well pointed it can refer to an ethnic denomination in Bolivia, it can be used in a derogatory way. I think context and tone are always important to understand if the term is being used pejoratively or not. Yes, I know this. I have seen the word used as an insult. But it is primarily a proper term to refer to cholas, which is an ethnic group in South America, to reduce it to just a slur seems unfair to me. Within the context of Born This Way, chola isn't problematic, there's nothing offensive about being "chola descent", she's listing ethnic groups in that part of the song, not slurs . No idea about "orient made" though, I don't know if such term ever had negative connotations or not. HEART OF EVER-FROST
