well. is this it now? Full war between israel and the arab nations? This is so stupid. Pointless death.

Iran is not an Arab nation, they are Persian.

The truth is most Arabic countries will be happy that Israel just bombed Irans nuclear power. Iran is the biggest threat to Arabic countries (even more than Israel), so Iran not having nuclear weapon is a big positive for Arabs. This is why Arabs hate Obama and love Trump alot.

But Obama was the one who limited their nuclear capacity in exchange for relief from sanctions and Trump broke that deal and reimposed sanctions, effectively allowing Iran to continue to build out its nuclear capabilities. It wasn’t until pretty recently that Trump tried to get Iran back at the table to renegotiate the former nuclear deal and obviously that’s not gonna happen now.

People keep talking about WW3 and it seems that it's getting closer and closer, the leadership in the WH is not competent enough to contain anything, the patients are running the asylum and some spark will doom us all.:Cautious:

Yes but it seems like Trump is willing to favor Arabs over Iran, and choose one side, while Obama tried to make it equal, which could make Iran gain more power of Arab countries.

Saudi Arabia was skeptical of the deal's effectiveness in preventing Iran from developing a nuclear weapons program, believing it could embolden Iran's regional ambitions. And also that he deal was giving Iran too much leverage and enabling it to expand its influence in the region through its proxy groups. And Saudi was concerned about the financial benefits Iran would receive from sanctions relief, fearing that a significant portion of the funds would be used to further destabilize the regional tensions.

what is left for WW3 honestly just drop it already

It’s not gonna happen. Period, end of. Especially over Iran. Not to sound dismissive of anyone, but no world power on Earth gives a flying **** about Iran and they never have. It’s a big part of the reason Israel feels so comfortable bullying them. They know no one is willing to go to war for Iran.

I can appreciate why people are afraid, but I think we need not let the fear of a (almost 100% unlikely) world war or nuclear war distract us from holding Israel by the neck for what they continue to do day in and day out.

The threat of nuclear armageddon is just that: a threat. It holds little basis in reality, and is being spoken of solely so Israel can justify an unnecessary strike on a nation that is nowhere close to having a nuclear program robust enough to pose them or anyone else any serious threat.

Don't let Israel convince you that we're on the cusp of a nuclear war. We're not, they just want you to believe we are so that they can continue to do whatever they want.

We are not about to have a nuclear war. We are not about to have a world war. It is all a fear tactic that has absolutely no connection to fact. Don't get distracted.

Y’all WW3 is not happening over Iran. I promise you.

This is horrible. Awful. Disgusting. Israel has once again done something deplorable and will pretty much get away with it.

But no one’s going to war over Iran. Iran is the single most overdiscussed topic in all of geopolitics because certain corners of the Republican party have successfully planted this earwig that everyone has a mutual interest in their destruction.

The reality is not one single major world power takes it that seriously. It’s a bunch of Neocons who’re hungry for more Middle Eastern war, but that is not even a popular opinion in MAGA of all people. If there was as much appetite for war with Iran as some would have you believe it would have happened well before now.

There’s a reason it hasn’t.

Top Iran general killed

Israel has started a second wave of attacks and is promising days of activity

Iran may declare war on Israel

A top Iranian general? I would be VERY surprised if this doesn't escalate, especially considering continued attacks. The only issue, though, is that they have no land border. December made it so Iran doesn't even have a continuous line to the Mediterranean via proxies anymore. I'm curious how a war that would only really be limited to air strikes would play out.

Anything that smites the Iranian regime is normally good in my book, but this is just reckless. Just risking a lot of needless death, even if I don't disagree with the principle.

This. I dislike both Iran and Israel for their violence, but this is hypocritical aggression. Israel has nukes. They are costing innocent civilian lives over their military pettiness and lust for power.

Netanyahu is a psychopath, he does anything he wants, without caring about people's lives, not of Israelis and not at all of any other country, even Trump can't stop him. even the wedding of his son can't stop him, he will do anything to stay prime minister, whatever the cost.

My family is at risk, from today, every call might be the last.

It looks like Iran is only *close* to a nuclear bomb and doesn't have one, so why to rush this reckless attack when even the USA didn't want it and were still in the middle of negotiations?

Obama was bad for the middle east overall, his only achievement there was to kill Bin Laden and even this didn't really solve anything, only gave pride and a closure to the American people.

During his presidency, the arab spring started, he didn't know and probably didn't want to deal with it, leaving Iraq led to the rise of ISIS, the nuclear with Iran was rushed and we can see the Iran didn't care much about it and kept on working on their nuclear under everyone's nose, he left Libya and Syria destroyed.

It's shitty to say that, but the middle east flourished during Trump's first presidency, despite Iran, Israel and Palestine and Syria, he talked with money with countries who has money and that's was a smart move.

The Abraham accords and getting closer to the gulf countries, were something that before 2020 nobody even saw as a possibility and now 5 years later you see news like "Disney is building an amusement park in Abu Dhabi".

Iran is hugely strategically important and the Russian Empire and the British Empire invaded it in the past, occupying its southern and northern parts.
