RainOnGaga 51
Oh i hope Gaga brings some kind of celebrity cameo in her next music video, Taylor Swift would be a great pick! It will generate more hype with GP coz everybody loves Swift! Some Other Cameos I could think of: Bruno Mars(she made an appearance in his mv so..) Sabrina Carpenter(not her style but i can see her in HBDYWM) Miley Cyrus (VIY, she released an album too so maybe...) Garden Of Eden(Charli xcx or someone) but i dont want another duet, just a cameo Edited June 8 by RainOnGaga

"How Bad Do U Want Me", "Vanish Into You" and "Garden Of Eden" all have potential to at the very least be fan favorite singles, and maybe cute top10 tracks like Paparazzi or LoveGame Does she NEED them? no, but GaGa, gworl, you're rich, drop some coins for the new videos before you retire to have Baby GaGa with Michael, we're not asking for much . Honestly, that’s the tea. Idgaf what is or is not a single, I just need a few more MVs haha We have forgotten our public MANNERS
Ivy 12,339
Vanish Into You contrasts more with Abracadabra and Disease, and it's more unique than HBDUWM which for Gaga I think is better For some reason it seems like gp are liking songs that have less of a "busy" feel right now, which VIY fits this more while also standing out So I still think VIY the meow in zombieboy
The Ew from Judas 1,345
My problem is that it’s not as dark as the rest of the album-and from a music video perspective, it doesn’t provide anything nearly as visually interesting as vanish into you or garden of Eden or zombieboy etc. it’s gonna be a hit with the public not because it sounds like a Gaga song or because it sounds like mayhem-but because it sounds like a pop song a different singer would make-which, after how well Abra did, is really a shame. I think it’s a fine song, but looking at the album/era as a whole and its visuals, if this is the last single and music video we get, there’s a good chance it could be pretty underwhelming. (hope she’ll pull through tho-if there is a video I’m sure it’ll be pretty good) Ew

This i think may affect her image, people saying that she is trying so hard to be relevant or match Taylor. I think this is one reason this song wont be chosen as a single by her management/label. But, what if Taylor is featured or has a cameo in the MV... that might change things. BUT, Gaga wouldnt want Taylor to be associated with this song or this sound. Taylor didnt make this sound. So.. VIY wins But again... I would like them to take the risk with this song. It is sure to be a hit, especially with a very good music video (not sure about promo...bec Gaga is already touring that time - but that is also promo) Im not as confident about that. Not sure its a sound the GP will pick up as easily and on top of that like I said, the fact that its a 3rd single makes it even tougher for a song to take off if it requires a few listens to grow on you

The album has only two dark tracks, musically, and both have been released as singles already. The rest of Mayhem is traditional pop ballads and dance pop. "Alejandro" isn't a dark song, it's an ACE OF BASE inspired track with latin american roots, and has the most gothic video of her career, still to this day. "Vanish Into You" does not fit the visual gothic themes we had so far, neither does "Garden Of Eden". But she could still release a gothic video for both if she wanted, just like she did with "Alejandro". Sabrina Carpenter released a horror-inspired camp video for "Taste", with graphic violence in it, and the song is anything but violent. You need to see the fantasy, it's pop music, it's not supposed to be taken that seriously HEART OF EVER-FROST

Of course the tone of the song doesn’t have the match the music video-that’s not the case for music videos and never has been I’m not saying she can’t do a gothic video for HBDUWM-it’s what I’m expecting since that’s been the visual style for the whole era, and I think she can really make it work. I just don’t think it would mesh as well as some of the other songs. Vanish into you probably wouldn’t fit in super well either, but I think that can more easily be adapted into a gothic visual style than this song can. But this already did not happen. Taylor Swift fans are aware of "How Bad Do U Want Me", and they like it, and were actively streaming it . Most reactors on YouTube have already adressed the musical similarities with Taylor, and it was largely seen as cute and fun. The absolute only "demographic" being negative about the song is this forum, and nobody else, swifties, the general audience, and most fans, do like it . I haven't seen a single Taylor fan account negatively criticizing the song, but I saw many rooting for Taylor to join the remix . Only this forum "dislikes" the song, everyone else likes it HEART OF EVER-FROST

That’s what I’m really interested to see-since the mistress of mayhem is in the videos for both disease and Abra, HBDUWM could be a pretty cool song to conclude that character-since its more upbeat we can have a really interesting storyline the wraps things up (assuming it’s the final video) Ew

There was this video on TikTok that GaGa shared of a guncle watching the Coachella performance with his 5 year old niece, and she said: "She looks like Barbie" during "HBDUWM". GaGa could play into that Aurora/Maleficent visual duality for the song. HEART OF EVER-FROST 1
