Same, I thought nothing of the recent teasing by Gaga but this now being used by Beyoncé makes me think that something actually is happening. The way that would impact pop culture.. Immeasurable

If they ever decide to make a Part 2 of Telephone (technically Paparazzi Part 3) I really hope they make it right. There were so many rumors back then, wasn't Aura supposed to be the continuation? Or maybe that was a completely different video... But Aura had that wild, cinematic potential, and it would’ve made sense as a continuation, obviously without Beyoncé.

And then there was Ratchet—a track that was supposedly going to feature Azealia Banks. But the rumors talked about Beyoncé, Rihanna... Of course, that apparently was fake, but still, just imagining the lineup of those iconic artists feels epic. It makes you wonder: if there ever is a continuation of the Paparazzi-Telephone saga, will Beyoncé return, or will Gaga bring someone entirely new into the mix? 

I really hope it’s something massive and legendary. That story deserves an explosive, unforgettable ending.

I really hope it’s something massive and legendary. That story deserves an explosive, unforgettable ending.

I think by now the Telephone trilogy has become synonymous with both Gaga and Beyoncé, so it would 100% have to be another duo feature. Also each time Gaga is asked about it she mentions Beyoncé.

I personally hope they get together and write a brand new custom song designed specifically for the final instalment to the trilogy. I think at this point they'd have to because both Gaga and Beyoncé's music has evolved and matured so much since 2009. A certified hit that captures both of their current styles.

But you're right, music aside the video needs to be insanely cinematic and iconic to satisfy the hype. Be so cool if they could actually hire Tarantino to direct it.

Somehow John Wayne gives me the Telephone p2 vibes. But I guess it was continuation of PI / Million Reasons trilogy?

That’s my favorite Gaga video. It really felt like the big comeback. Remember, at that time we didn’t really know where she was headed? She dropped Joanne and totally surprised us, and that video was such an exciting moment. It felt like Gaga was truly back. I actually thought that would define the album’s whole aesthetic, maybe even lead to a darker version of Joanne. I pictured a ‘Dancing in Circles’ video continuing the same storyline... but in the end, it stopped there. Still, it remains my favorite to this day.

Honestly, I’ve always seen it more as a Gaga project that happened to include Beyoncé at one point. But deep down, I feel like the ending should be Gaga’s alone. She has evolved so much vocally and musically, and it would be incredible to see her channel that growth into a powerful finale. Beyoncé, on the other hand, hasn’t really been doing it for me lately, and the idea that Gaga couldn’t finish what she started on her own just doesn’t sit right with me.

Ye I get you, it started off with Paparazzi which was a solo Gaga song, and even in the Telephone video Beyoncé feels more like an extended cameo, but doing another duet with Bey would definitely be more successful commercially than if Gaga were to do it alone. Unless in pt.3 the beginning of the video features Gaga and Beyoncé going separate ways then the story continues with Gaga alone... who knows.

Don't get me wrong, Beyoncé is amazing as an artist. I saw her live during the Formation Tour in Barcelona and had an incredible time, It was almost as big as the Born This Way Ball.  I'm speaking purely from personal taste here; I'm not trying to bring any artist down. I just don't really connect with her vibe, her style, or her music. But that happens a lot to me, even with Gaga. And that doesn't take away from the fact that she's a phenomenal performer. Everyone has their preferences, I have mine, and they feel more meaningful than the rest. But I know others feel the same way about their own favorites. And that’s okay.
