bim 463
As a veteran monster who has been obsessed with her and her music since day one (especially including all the jazz!), has seen every tour she ever done, and is consistently in the top 0.1% of listeners on Spotify, I can confidently say there’s something about this album that hits different for me and will eventually become my favorite body of work by her to date. She’s at a new peak and I could not be more proud of her for creating such a masterpiece. It’s fourteen tracks of Gaga at the top of her game. It feels impossible to rank the tracks, but I will admit Disease is the one that feels the most special for me. I could write an entire thesis on that song, I’m still collecting my thoughts and metabolizing the album a bit more. I’m hoping to flesh out a detailed view of how I hear Mayhem. It’s pure genius. Bravo, mama. Edit: I think something I am really loving is how this is an album only she can pull off. It’s weird and campy and bright and dark and all the weird **** she does with her vocals and the energy she brings to the music. It makes it feel very special and hammers in all I appreciate about who she is as an artist. holy scheisse 22,114
Her best album since Born this way. Even rivals it in terms of quality. Not a single skip or bad track. my only complaint is how it slows down really hard with the final tracks. Shadow coulda been the closer
PinkJelly 1,767
Disease - 9/10, love her Abra - 10/10, earworm Garden of Eden - 8/10, throwback bop Perfect Celebrity - 11/10, more of this Gaga I beg of you Vanish Into You - 7.5/10, the verses are very pretty and I love the songs sentiment Killah - 8/10, groovy af Zombieboy - 8.5/10, so catchy and I feel like this would do great as a Wednesday season 2 tie in LoveDrug - 7/10, a bop that’s growing on me. The vocal delivery of the chorus reminds me so much of the ARTPOP (song) ‘hehe’s How Bad - 6/10, this one has grown on me so much since release. I can be delulu like a teenage girl dreaming about her crush singing into the hairspray can in my room (that’s the image in my mind for this one) Don’t Call Tonight - 5/10, bearable? Shadow Of A Man - 9/10, ooof I love this groovy track. Very MJ, in the best way possible. Makes you wanna dance. The Beast - 10/10, in love with this sultry werewolf daddy fantasy of Gaga’s, get it girl Blade Of Grass - 7/10, beautiful ballad but an overly familiar sound? Die With A #1 World Hit - Smash, next! - have listened to the two ‘exclusive’ tracks once a piece so can’t really pass judgement on those
codymonster 8,518
I really love the album. I think it's one of her strongest albums lyrically, musically, and definitely vocally. I feel like I'm getting the "live" Gaga experience on the album that I don't normally get from her studio songs. At first I was thrown off by the second half of the album, but after watching a bunch of interviews, both of her saying the album is a long night out, and also that she wanted to channel the mayhem of her artistry (not being tied down to one genre), it really helped me appreciate the body of work more. But yes, I think it is one of her best, if not her best, album. It's exciting how she seems to be really driven right now to just improve herself as an artist and musician.

hijadeputa 3,862
The album is a GROWER. I love it more for every day and Don’t call tonight hits harder for everyday. It’s just so good. I love the whole album as a whole. If I had to choose the song that I like the least it must be The Beast or Lovedrug. But I still like them. This is AOTY yall. With Abracadabra as ROTY and SOTY. Nirvana 2,708
This is the kind of album you need to listen to multiple times to form your opinion. When you put your expectations of "only dark pop allowed" away, you'll see how incredible the album really is. The album is loud and kinda feels overwhelming at first - so much is going on and you'll never know where the song is going (at least for me). But that's great as it rewards future listens - you'll notice the amazing production, bridges and all the rock, industrial, funk and 80s references. This is all I've been listening to for days, it's so addictive. I should tone it down so I'll not get tired of it but doesn't seem to happen. Even the song I initially disliked, How bad do you want me, is growing on me and is admittedly a good 80s pop. Her vocals have never been better!! I love her delivery and conviction on these tracks. Cannot even say what my favourite song is because it's changing daily, love the whole thing. Incredible album

I would really, really love to chat with her about MJ some day tbh. Like, if I ever used the few connections modding here has given me, it'd be for that I just wanna stan out with her I agree with you. I don't even want an autograph, I just want to hold hands, skip in a field of dandelions with her and have a picnic. 💛

Keeo 407
I love it and I can’t get enough of it. Each album has a special place in my heart and memories. Each one is special in their own way and while I might not go back to them as much, they were each “the best thing ever” at some point in my life. So right now, Mayhem is that.
Ashley 9,226
I’m absolutely in love with Mayhem. This is actually the first Gaga album that I can’t decide on what my favorites are, they change every day because each song is just that good, there’s zero skips. It gets better with each listen too, it just sounds so fresh. The production, vocals, and song outtros are incredible. 1
