she releases new variants, restocks signed CD, discounts physical copies...

only the signed CD’s made any impact, she would’ve been #1 without any of the variants or discounts

It's the The Eras Tour. This tour is massive! :enigma: Of course the album that is supported with such a gigantic tour will sell more.

I stream the album everyday. I LOVE every song on it (including the ones with weaker lyrics lmao), so I imagine a lot of people do the same. I believe Billboard mentioned that it would still be number one even without the digital viariants so...

Because its Covids long lost cousin. Takes forever to die because it comes remixing out new variants constantly :madge:

Variants + 31 songs + a large population of basic people who think her music somehow makes them seem more intelligent

Also Robin? It's the weakest song imo

First of all I don’t want to start a war, lol.  But I’m just curious how TTPD is still the number one album?  The singles haven’t done amazing.  She hasn’t promoted it at all.  She’s only released two singles.  And most swifties(myself included) argue it’s not her best work.

How is this album still number one?  And please let’s not say variants.

Variants and her cult, I mean fans. (Don't get me wrong she has some catchy music just not on this album imo). They buy and stream. It makes her albums really successful. Over 40 songs have spent 10 weeks or more at number one on billboard. Zero of them are by Taylor. She's never reached that feat. That's why I'd argue it's usually just her fans staying devoted. She never reaches the gp appeal to sustain a crazy successful hit song. Let me brace for them to come drag me :|
