The rumour was growing the last few days, another insider who had scoops about previous movies said both 'Scream fans and Melissa Barerra will watch and enjoy the movie'

This would be SOOOO epic if she was to return. The Carpenter sisters are great and compelling additions to the overall Scream series. Having them cut out so suddenly is insane. Plus, if her salary goes to aid those being affected, even better resolution for this situation.
