Honestly I am very guilty of enjoying this pasttime.  I acknowledge how she feels --- they are expensive campaigns. I would encourage her to have the label or her merch team reprint so fans don't have to rescue them from the walls, if I knew I had the option to buy unpasted I'd always do that instead of the intense work it takes to take them down, restore, and care for the pasted ones. 

In my defense: 

I wait till the promo is ended or nearly ended, which depending on your area can be between 72 hour cycles or 3 weeks. I have been known to liberate them out from under the ones plastered above them, see:

 

 

 

I always leave SOME up, I want my fave to get exposure

I am doing my part to preserve the physical history of an artist I love

These posters are some of the rarest to ever exist, never sold in shops. There is admittedly a certain amount of collector prestige in owning such a rare piece of an artist's history. I love them and looking at them gives me joy. I have about 10 different Gaga ones. Maybe more. I would LOVE to host a museum space before I die that has them all on display so all little monsters could take photographs and enjoy them like I do. 

 

Over time, and I mean over YEARS.... these companies that make them are FINALLY realizing that fans actually want such rare promo and the companies are getting with the program, see below:

 

We can only hope they will make the mental leap and continue to offer them for free or for sale. In the meantime, I will keep being me.
