A few years ago, I wanted every Gaga single on vinyl. Now, I don’t really care. I buy only Gaga and Gwen albums more than once. I grew out of the phase of wanting every edition of everything, although I do still really want the deluxe book set of the Fame Monster especially because my friend’s art is in it. I can’t say my Chromatica CD’s have ever been played. I buy smaller artists music and probably a physical copy if I see them live. 
 

Taylor has some devoted fans that apparently have coins. If the fans are dropping willing to pay then these expanded editions will keep coming.

Ugh not to mention the environmental impact! She can’t just stop at the jets, now it’s multiple releases covered in plastic, manufactured with oil, and shipped multiple times to fans using cars, trucks, trains, and planes. 
 

If she was doing the Ellie Goulding route with recycled vinyl and biodegradable plastic, I’d feel better about it.. but this is kinda getting disgusting. Gluttony at its finest.

Her insatiable and capitalistic obsession to always outperform herself with the numbers is a bit much sometimes, I don't think I have seen an artist so addicted to chart success.

It starts to feel less like serving her fanbase and more like scamming them because she knows she can.

Ngl, I really hope the charts take the same approach to multiple colour variants etc/signed copies and the rest as they took to tour bundles (tho getting rid of those was the worst decision for consumers ever imo). 

They should count the Std Edition & actually ltd pressing editions only. Deluxe editions shouldn't count if released on the same day (if they come later in the era I don't have a problem personally). 
Signed copies shouldn't count if they're digital rather than hand signed. 
Album bundles of Vinyl(s) + CD + Casette(s) should only count as 1 sale on the main chart. And bundles where the same album comes on 2 or more different styled vinyls/cassettes should only count as 1 sale on the Vinyl & Casette album charts.

i swear people want to be treated and spoken to like children because this really isn't something to get mad about. taylor's my most streamed artist of all time, i have a number of her vinyl and cd releases, yet i find these 'bonus track' releases to be entirely asinine. so i don't buy them. if you don't like them, also don't buy them.

why are people so mad over something they aren't buying? the song will be available as an audio file within seconds of people receiving their orders, it's not like you aren't going to be able to hear the song. these wouldn't get sold if people didn't buy them in the first place, if you're not in that target audience of 'people who buy all the different variants' then i don't see why you're complaining. i'm glad people who do like them are able to buy them, more choice is always good. but they're not my thing so i do not care.

These visuals are so unexciting tbh, even though Midnights visuals (infamously) didn’t match the music, it was so gorgeous and fresh for her. This is like giving basic quintessential post-Lover Taylor Swift even her hairstyle is reminiscent of Midnights era here
