With how it looks now, if it isn't Trump then Haley might be the "conservative" pick. Which is almost as wild. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss. Hopefully the conservative votes are just completely split between DeSantis, Haley and Trump (but a limited amount of states) and then none of them will win I don't pay that much attention to US politics (because it's a circus. But unfortunately affects the rest of the world and people I care about) but who are the more liberal candidates, if they have any, and are they any good? Any potential for someone decent to win at all? I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

So this is for the Republican primary, which means that, at this point one of the politicians you mentioned will have to become the Republican nominee for the general election against Biden. So, in the end, this has more to do with who will run against Biden than it does with them running against each other. I guess the most sane is Christie since he's been the one actually calling out the ridiculousness of Trump support asking his party, but he had no chance of winning. It'll for sure be between Trump, Haley, and DeSantis running against Biden in the general election. Due to our (gross) party system, anyone more progressive/independent candidates has 0 chance of winning the general election this time around. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss. I will never understand how American politics works. Not exactly many great options there looks like it could possibly be Trump vs Biden round 2... and usually people get bored of having the same candidate twice running so here's hoping no matter what happens Trump doesn't get in again. Last time was enough of a mess but this time he's lost 10% more of his marbles and it would probably be more of a disaster (also with wars raging rn who knows what he would do) I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
