She unintentionally created the perfect environment for someone like Bernie to be heard. Also, Biden and Obama don’t talk about their faith in any way that raises eyebrows in the US. That could kinda apply to Biden as he won without having any real supporters, but Bernie and Trump have actual passionate supporters and made history with their rally crowds. Again, she never said it didn't exist. Her whole spiritual ethos basically boils down to the idea that everything in life becomes easier to deal with when greeted with love and equanimity. She never said that people who had AIDS weren't really sick or that they shouldn't pursue medical treatment, but that they should also find a way to find peace within themselves about their condition as a means of aiding their well-being and hopeful recovery. The Darth Vader acronym is goofy, but she's essentially saying that she believes there's a possibility to recognize the potential for spiritual growth in everything. You can't just take that **** out of context to make it look like she said something grossly insensitive when really all she said was a New Age repackaging of a lot of Buddhist principles.
