Relatable. I'm ugly and alone. I can't relate to good looking people hooking up all the time. It's not getting better with age either. I'm a Millennial, so I'm starting to get old.

to be completely fair... Santi is 33, so he's a Millenial too.

But I get it, I feel my thirties inching closer and the being single part is a (minor, very minor for me) concern.

It's okay neither of you is as bad as me  :bear:  I'm 31 and have never been in a relationship. Hope that makes you feel better by comparison.. happy to be of service

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

gay gays are always attracted to guys that remind them of themselves, even if its subconscious.

I've found out therapy, an off brand fl*sh light and a flexible back renders the need of another person null. Make of that what you will

STOP not flexible back :ladyhaha:   not on GGD at least :billie:

Well unfortunately I have none of those things. And therapy is so expensive that I quit going :bear: but it's probably the thing I need most in my life tbh

I'm 36 this year. Live alone. Barely have a social life and the last relationship I had was when I was 18. I will forever be single, it sucks, but I just accept it. I live in a small town too, so it's not easy to meet someone. Oh well.

I feel like we are in similar situations then    it feels so strange to be so grown in so many ways, yet so inexperienced in others. I've accepted that it might not ever happen for me, but at the same time I'm still keeping myself open to it. Who knows right? If only counselling were more affordable maybe I could make a change, or at least feel better about the situation as it stands :bear:

Yup. It sucks, but I just have to accept it. Thankfully living alone isn't looked down upon anymore, and I do have a good life, I have a job which a decent salary and I own a house (with a mortgage). So it's not terrible, but it's not great either. I want to talk to a therapist, but it's too expensive, and a psychologist is impossible because there aren't enough, getting an appointment through our health services is impossible. Sadly mental health is not prioritized in my country. I'm on anti-depressants though, which helps.

The next thing I've been planning towards is putting a deposit down on my own place so I can live alone! I dream of having my very own space, even if I'm broke. It will eventually set you up so well in the future so don't ever regret it. I went to a therapist for a year and a half and I feel I grew so much in that time, but things kinda came to a standstill and I felt I wasn't getting enough out of the sessions anymore to justify the $110 an hour :bear:  I just haven't found a new one since, have no idea where to even start looking, and really don't want to spend that much money either. Especially when you don't even know if you'll be a good match until a few sesions in, by which time you've already spent hundreds... so yes, I'm on antidepressants now too :huntyga:  thank you Wellbutrin for levelling me out. They help a lot, but I know it's just a bandaid until I can heal the actual wound underneath. But one positive is they're completely free :yennefer:

Also lmao we hijacked this thread to publicly complain and trauma-dump.. whoops! :laughga:

cute, but I never understood gays who date someone that looks like their twin

They don't look alike at all.  I swear y'all think all white gays look the same.

I realized I got everything wrong about their story, about how they met, when they started dating etc. Turns out they didn't actually start dating until filming had stopped, which was in december 2022. They have been together for 4 months, not a year. Also, they did sorta hook up before they started filming in early 2022, but Toni pulled back for various reasons.

Here's an interview with them. It's a great interview and well worth the read (use google translate for English translation): https://www.lanacion.com.ar/espectaculos/personajes/santiago-talledo-y-toni-gelabert-un-amor-que-nacio-en-las-grabaciones-de-atav-2-y-se-hizo-realidad-nid13042023/
