I feel like we are in similar situations then it feels so strange to be so grown in so many ways, yet so inexperienced in others. I've accepted that it might not ever happen for me, but at the same time I'm still keeping myself open to it. Who knows right? If only counselling were more affordable maybe I could make a change, or at least feel better about the situation as it stands I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. Thankfully living alone isn't looked down upon anymore, and I do have a good life, I have a job which a decent salary and I own a house (with a mortgage). So it's not terrible, but it's not great either. I want to talk to a therapist, but it's too expensive, and a psychologist is impossible because there aren't enough, getting an appointment through our health services is impossible. The next thing I've been planning towards is putting a deposit down on my own place so I can live alone! I dream of having my very own space, even if I'm broke. It will eventually set you up so well in the future so don't ever regret it. I went to a therapist for a year and a half and I feel I grew so much in that time, but things kinda came to a standstill and I felt I wasn't getting enough out of the sessions anymore to justify the $110 an hour I just haven't found a new one since, have no idea where to even start looking, and really don't want to spend that much money either. Especially when you don't even know if you'll be a good match until a few sesions in, by which time you've already spent hundreds... so yes, I'm on antidepressants now too thank you Wellbutrin for levelling me out. They help a lot, but I know it's just a bandaid until I can heal the actual wound underneath. poppy 239 Posted April 17, 2023 Author Share Posted April 17, 2023 I realized I got everything wrong about their story, about how they met, when they started dating etc. Turns out they didn't actually start dating until filming had stopped, which was in december 2022. They have been together for 4 months, not a year. Also, they did sorta hook up before they started filming in early 2022, but Toni pulled back for various reasons. Here's an interview with them.
