David Letterman has spoken out in defense of talk show hosts who have been cancelled as a result of right-wing ideology. He said that this hit close to home for him as a talk show host of 20 years. He warns that the path of authoritarianism is dangerous, and he states that the US is on the way to a dictatorship where anyone could get silenced.

:applause: Keep speaking out. I know that, just like Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman could be controversial. However, bowing down to authoritarianism by censoring people is wrong.
