But Gaga had her little Kendrick Lamar-Chief Keef love era that happened between Born This Way and ARTPOP and I think she wanted to give a nod to that. Not every track has to be perfect. I certainly do know some people that think it slaps and is a surprising twist. It's not a great track, but it's not a mistake. I still would love to see Gaga cleverly utilize hip hop and r&b some way again. I think she just stays away from it because people would see it as not very PC of her. Born This Way Deluxe had 17 songs that I didn’t get bored with because most of the songs were stellar (FOHL is the only dud for me).
