If Joaquin make 20M$ and he is man and woman is mistreated in US and seen as not human by the American legal system as demonstrated recently by the reversal of Roe v Wade this means that 20/4=5M$ for Gaga but because she has also the rumors of having a **** then she can maybe bump the pay to 10M$

I think she could aim for much more because shes lady gaga. sadly, actresses do get paid waaaay less than actors, but also gaga moves masses so I guess she can get a lot for a role.

She'll probably pull at least 15 million. Can't see her only getting 10 million for this. Two hits under her belt, a successful album, a successful tour, a successful soundtrack.

That's not how it works though. He got lower at first because the studios not sure if the movie will make money. Now that the first one got very successful in box office AND Oscars, with Joaquin won Best Actor from it, ofc he will negotiate his salary for the second one and WB thought he deserve to get that 20M because he is the main character and they know the potential now.  And whoever will be starting as his counter part will get lower. Cos they are new addition and will have to prove themselves.

She will get lower than 15. A two time Oscars winner Cate Blanchett only get $12M tops for her role as Hela in Thor 3 movie. Plus, we all saw how the DC fans reacted over the news, that ought to be bargain power for Warner Bros when discussing salary with her. If it were positive reaction, it would have been on Gaga favor.

Seriously, Gaga should get at least 10m even if she is just a supporting actress.

I agree of course but it is unfortunate that women STILL start at a lower base though. Like even with what you said, the woman will almost always start at a lower base pay than her male counterpart. Even if she is an A+ actress.

What are you talking about? The reaction was like 90% positive, and the negative comments were mostly about the musical thing, not Gaga.

Cate Blanchett is solely an actress. Gaga is a superstar pop queen turned actress, and she's had three successful turns at acting. Movie fans will see Cate in a film. Movie fans and music fans will see a film Gaga is in. Not to mention House of Gaga was just a hit for her. No way she gets offered 10 million.

Then you don't get it. DC fans have been repeatedly boycotting DC movies and successfully so, because they are defending Zack Synder's DCEU that been mistreated by WB, but give Joker an exception and made it successful. So obviously WB will want the only DCmovie that the fandom cool with done right.
