I’m just saying she bears some responsibility if what we’re hearing is all true. It’s also the fact that she prides herself on creating safe spaces for everybody to be themselves, feel good, loved, respected, etc. Especially given that, she should have been more on top of this. i'm a powerpuff girl. ○●

LastNight 5,935
What a horrible situation all round. Let's just hope it's handled in the appropriate way and investigated properly. Until then, I think we should take a breath for a minute. We know some details but there's a lot we don't know and a ton of assumptions being made, particularly pertaining to Gaga's handling of what's being alleged. I, for one, am giving Gaga the benefit of the doubt and trust that her actions are/will be in alignment with her values. Until we have information to the contrary, I think it's unfair to jump to conclusions - especially as the dancers themselves still seem to have a lot of love and respect for her. It's awful that the dancers experienced this, but I do think that the way they've gone about sharing it is really unfortunate. I don't mean to suggest that victims shouldn't speak up, but if you're going to do it via social media, then dropping a shady line in an instagram story and following it up with a reply-tweet claiming abuse is not the best way, it's such a serious allegation with so many potential ramifications. Of course we want victims to feel safe speaking out (and I'm not denying what they've said), but there are ways to share it that are more appropriate and give clarity - this has just created drama and confusion. l feel for them, I hope they're ok and I'm glad they'e out of a situation that was harmful to them, hopefully this can be resolved in a suitable way. Also, whoever shared private messages of somebody speaking about their sexual assault should be ashamed. What a dreadful thing to do to someone and how triggering must that be for them. Regardless, for someone who champions creating safe spaces, negligence isn’t acceptable, especially for her own team… Because I think it's weird to blame someone for negligence as much as an actual abuser, and people who are negligent would have no clue...that is what negligence often is, a lack of awareness. Mister G 10,399
If Rolling Stone reaches out to the dancer who made the allegation of SA…allegedly through a DM with a fan…and it turns out to either be not true or betrayal of trust because he asked them not to be shared, that user could be in for some serious legal trouble. Yeah but the accusations of sexual abuse are from a stan's supposed screenshot of a pm from someone who didn't speak out publicly so let's not put too much stock in that one yet (unless something's changed since I saw that). At any rate, let's not catastrophize here yet for all we know all of this could just be hurt feelings and professional disagreements leading to personal issues between coworkers. We just don't know ANY of the facts. 3 hours ago, Suuus said: Sinds when are fansites taken seriously There's been numerous tabloid sites that take GGD threads as "Lady Gaga's fans are saying ___" then it's a short hop from some trash media site to the proper news. But again, nobody but Gaga's actual team is playing with the full story here so let's all chill 🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼
