Strengths: songwriting, businesswoman, philanthropy, great to her fans, she creates changes in the music industry/Speaks Now when she's passionate about something, consistent with releases (i.e. every album has great music videos, performances ready)

Weaknesses: limits her creativity for her image, not the strongest vocals, not a great dancer (but would dancing be seen as a weakness for Adele? so.. didn't know if I should include)

Adele doesn't pretend to dance on stage but Taylor tries so yes it's a weaknest.

As someone who doesn't listen to her music that much here I go lol

Strength: Seems to be very hardworking and is a great songwriter. She knows how to make music that appeals to a lot of people.

Weakness: Despite being so successful, her vocals and stage presence are weak. Also, making music that appeals to a lot of people can also be a weakness imo because it shows she doesn't do anything outside the box and is a bit boring.

weakness: too much drama, writing about every relationship she had (each album has 2 or 3 songs about it), her fun personality drastically changed after the Ye incident and became cold blooded/fake. Her latest music is weak compared to her first albums.

strength: her lyrics are top chief,  delivers visuals.

Weakness: No strong vocals. Very manipulative (fans buying the same album twice as “re-recordings” :lmao: ). Bland and boring image.

Strengths: She was tolerable in the 1989, reputation, and Lover eras. :yennefer:

Tell you don’t understand the re-recording without telling me…

''But she's so versatile'' no. Following a trend (reputation) and making a boring folk album with Jack Antonoff's cheap and stripped down instrumentals is not a proof of versatility at all. It's also pretty suspicious as she went this route right after Lana released NFR (and got so much critical acclaim) and was about to release COCC.

One way or another, being able to adapt your style to several different genres is versatile in my eyes. To go from her first album which is country and twangy to even the more mature sound of Red is proof of artistic growth, but then to switch and go into different kinds of pop and then do a total 180 and change your songwriting style to create an album full of interwoven characters and stories in the form of gorgeous folk songs proves that, if nothing else, she’s capable of trying different sounds and artistic styles and nailing them. No one said she’s the first artist to make a folk album, it’s not about innovation, but when she does make an album in any different style, she does it brilliantly.

Strengths: Songwriting (not as amazing as critics make it out to be but a massive improvement from where it used to be) especially acoustic-based stuff, versatile talent for playing instruments, marketing her brand

Weaknesses: Lack of versatile song subjects (this is starting to change as of late but it was very self-centered for years), not a good dancer or strong stage presence, voice could be stronger, lack of awareness and a huge sense of victim mentality which makes for a very grating personality

Strength: she's very close with er fans, her marketing team, her lyricism, her voice has gotten better

Weakness: sometimes still has victim mentality, obsessed with charting, still a mediocre performer
