thatfoxyfeeling 13,136
It's so cringe and how they recorded it too, looks like security gave him a good seeing to.
Franch Toast 27,303
When I saw Gwen in Vegas, there was a point in the show when she invited one woman from the audience onto the stage to join her in singing the chorus to "Just a Girl" (she used to invite a lot of people but scaled back due to Covid). While Gwen, that woman, and the dancers were standing on the right of the stage, a different woman from the audience climbed onto the stage and began turning cartwheels. Gwen noticed her and remarked, "She's wasted." Security darted out from behind the curtains and started to grab the intruder, and Gwen stopped what she was doing to call out, "She's welcome." Security still continued to haul the invader away, so Gwen ran over to them and physically pulled the audience member away from her security and firmly said, "She's welcome. I want her to stay." In the middle of all this hubbub, a third woman climbed onto stage. Gwen just shook her head and said, "You're going to be in so much trouble," chuckled, and invited the third woman to join her and the other two on the right side of the stage. However, the third woman just wanted to take pictures, and Gwen just wanted to finish singing her darn song, so at that point, she scolded the woman, "It's singing time, not picture-taking time," and the third woman wandered to the back of the stage and threw her arms around Gwen's back-up singer and keyboardist Stephen Bradley. On the one hand, I thought it was very kind of Gwen not to kick off the two invaders, and to stand up to security for her fans. On the other hand, it occurred to me that this set a very bad precedent for other fans to just climb onto her stage whenever they felt like it, knowing that she would probably let them stay because she's so nice. I was relieved to see security detaining the two women after the concert, since let's face it: rushing the stage like that poses a security risk to the performers and is also distracting to the audience. uo111 5,266
Fan running on stage is an idiot. Okay now that that’s out of the way, my god being a cis straight male pop star is so ****ing easy lol. A hoodie and beanie, barely singing on an empty stage. How can anyone pay money to see that, you’d get a better experience listening to the album in your car.

I'd like to say it's simply sexism and misogyny (in comparison to their female peers), but their fanbases (which are ironically made up of mostly young girls) are extremely problematic and are the driving force behind said-male-entertainers' careers. I recently joined gaming Twitter and even on there almost all the girl players in different fanbases drag female characters and dismiss them while obsessing over basic male character models/stories. I know this kinda has nothing to do with your post, but I was flabbergasted at how it's the exact same scenario in a different industry.
