I'd be very surprised if we don't get a movie given how massive this tour was and how great the era has been with content. Michael saying Mayhem Requiem was the "very last thing" we see or get was quite suspicious though so I'd like to see confirmation about it. Perhaps it was her last "new material" for the era as the tour was already going on and fans at the LA shows received cards to sign up for updates on the tour film premiere. i'm sure they will find the proper way to release it eventually. 1 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

We've seen the Mayhem Ball. A film of it won't be some new thing, it'll just be a chance to relive memories. It's not new content. I think folks are ignoring the obvious here - the era is over because nothing *new* is coming. No more shows, no music videos, no singles, no deluxe reissue etc not because they've scraped the thing they spent 4 nights filming at a time when concert films are at an all time peak of market value. I just checked and REQUIEM was filmed in January, and the LA shows filmed at the concert were filmed a month later. There is a very good chance they maybe didn't even decide to film it for the movie at the time, or what I still assume to be Michael saying it was the last thing, meaning the last thing she would put out for the era. The Chromatica era had definitely passed by the time the CBT came out (despite the delays lol), and so my guess is she is gonna release the MAYHEM ball movie later this year. I have a feeling she is going to try and really do something big for it since there have been a lot of concert movies lately, and so she is probably still working on those details and also the movie. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
