Swedish pop group Abba, who have made a remarkable comeback to the music scene after 40 years, could rake in 'almost £1billion' from a bidding war started by three Las Vegas hotels who are desperate to secure the band's new concert show.

According to reports, MGM Resorts, Caesars Palace and Resorts World are battling it out to come up trumps and host the supergroup’s Abbatar concert show, Abba Voyage.

'Plans at the moment are centred around a suggested 2024 opening which would coincide with the 50th anniversary of their Eurovision win and the release of chart-topper Waterloo.

Is anyone planning to see the ABBA show in London? I'm kind of intrigued as to how they will make the members appear on the arena screen...

I have tickets to see the London show twice next summer. I haven't seen much information yet about the ABBAtars themselves, but I heard there will be a selection of live acts featured alongside them.

The band is live and features relatively famous people in it, but it's an ABBA show, no other live act.

Since it's hologram, it could go on forever in Vegas. So $1 Billion is sensible, I guess :oprah:
