Album covers without font (your thoughts?)

Fonts can usually ruin the picture, I prefer them without text. I think Planet Her would've been so much better without that font

I love fonts on the artwork. I look at the covers on my phone or as a CD itself.

The cover would have worked without a font as well, but I appreciate the nerve to use it. I think it looks great.

it would've been perfect with the same font but placed on the side/bottom instead of straight down the middle

The original vinyl version had a font, but all the re-releases don’t have it.

it did for the regions outside of North America because industry people felt like M was not recognizable enough for audiences over there.

Well I wasn't born at the time, but didn't she just had a big makeover at the time this album was released? Maybe people outside of America really would not have recognized her with the short blonde hair yet.

From what I read online from some veteran little madonsters, it seems like this was most likely the case.

I even checked Discogs because I actually bought this pressing in the UK on vacation and you are right about it having text, but when you go to the American pressing page, it does not have text.

I don’t mind whatever it is, as long as it works. I really enjoyed what Iggy azalea did for her 2019 singles. The text wasn’t added in post production because it was part of the set.
