Kind of feel like DoC elevated the lesser-loved songs from Chromatica (Plastic Doll, Fun Tonight) but goofed on the big ones (Alice, Stupid Love). I liked the Enigma one from the start but Alice and Stupid Love took time to grow on me. 1000 Doves is unforgivable tho tbh. New beats, new lyrics and new melodies. I guess newest example that understood the assignment would be “We Belong Together” remix. Something that makes the song new and fresh.
