Why does Gaga say Scheisse is the last song of the show?

I understand she means that it's the last show of the main set, but the problem is that people have no idea there's going to be an encore and Gaga performs in front of a half empty venue:

it definitely seems that she does that on purpose, but what's the point?

Seems only the super fans would stay then, because they'd know it's coming. Others who aren't aware of the show may leave (along with those who have to catch trains and buses lol).

A lot of singers do that and I also ask myself why. I guess it's just to trick people or something.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I don't know but it's kind of ridiculous because TEOG is really great live and heaps of people miss it because of that. :fat:

I told the few people around me who were getting ready to leave that there was still two more songs because I didn't want them to miss out.

Perhaps to know who are her super fans who'd be more than willing to wait for her to really end the show. It could be a gauge to distinguish the hardcore fans from the casual concertgoers.

I think it's to really make it seem like an encore, idk

There really is no need to split the two though

It's happened the whole tour and it has annoyed me so much. I honestly don't let haters get to me, but it makes me sick when people try to say she is over or she's flopping or she's irrelevant based on the final performance when the lights turn on and all you see is empty spaces. *cough* paws down tumblr *cough*

it does seem ridiculous, but she really has to say that.

since all concerts have an encore, of course people are going to be waiting around when she leaves the stage for the first time. if she says that scheisse is the last song and then comes out and does two more songs, it's clear that the show is over and people leave. if she didn't announce scheisse as the last song people might assume that marry the night is the end of the main set and still hang around. basically it's to get people to start to leave the arena and it works. that makes it not really an encore at all since it's so calculated, but that's her reason for doing it.

i don't know why either. I remember when Scheisse ended, people were getting ready to leave, so i immediately shouted "THERE'S TWO MORE SONGS! DON'T LEAVE! PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE!!!!" :crossed:

This is the Moscow show. The public was leaving even during You and I. The public got pissed off because she was saying that it is cool to be gay.
