No, what about it?

them hating on Gabi? They got a point :poot:

Or is it about the complain with the manga ending? They also got a point :poot:

Being toxic isn’t about not liking something its about how you go about expressing your disinterest.

ot: i think once you look at any community the people suck. Football fans, music fans, gamers, monsters, people who like drag race, etc. literally toxic people everywhere. The thing is when its monsters its super hypocritical because we’re supposed to be a group thats above that/into being kind to one another. I bet a lot of people criticize religious people for not loving thy neighbor but many many LM’s are frankly insufferably negative. you dont have to look farther than the first page of any ggd thread about Gaga OR another artist

Also, I know this thread is about the fanbase toxicity, but can we just appreciate the glow up from Armin from season 1-3 to season 4 :

I liked the first two seasons, haven't watched the third yet, but I can't say I've come across the fans online to see what they're like. Tbh any large and dedicated fanbases always end up with some extreme, angry, weirdos :bear:  and they're always the ones to talk to loudest on social media

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

i know that they came for mappa’s throat at the start of the season but pretty much changed at the end :firega:

Little monsters don't seem that bad tbh. Sure they make entitled demands occasionally but for the most part, I haven't seen them send death threats or insults to artists or producers.

I was playing The Last of Us Part II and the discourse around the character Abby is way more toxic than anything I've seen little monsters do. They sent death threats to the actress playing her and said a lot of problematic things about women who do not conform to the traditional feminine gender ideal.

It has some awfully toxic fans 1000000%, but as a fandom as a whole, it isn’t too bad. I’d say they’re about the same

I think so. I remember when the first episode of the final season aired, about 90% of the comments I read were about how bad the new studio did their job :smh: .

Did they lie tho? They had the most epic scenes in the entire manga to animate (the warhammer fight + the whole battle there with all the titans, Armin's nuke and Levi vs the beast in the forest) and they screwed them all up completely.

Considering they only had 8 months or so to animate the whole 16 episodes, they did an amazing job. And did you look at the CGI of the first three seasons?

Gurl, at least that was fluid animation. Some scenes of season 4 looked like stop-motion...

I didn't even notice until you pointed it out :bear: . But it really doesn't bother me. Imma be mad if they ruin the final fight, but I doubt that :lana: .
