Bradley 58,699 Posted June 10, 2021 Share Posted June 10, 2021 A Star Is Born trailer was released 3 years ago, it was highly anticipated and was acclaimed upon release. Some fans were skeptical and didn't think the full movie would be as good as the trailer, but it turned out to be even better. Warner also released four incredible featurettes from the film: I still bawl at this movie despite having seen it for 6 times at least. Personally, I think Shallow is a poetic lyrical masterpiece. In the good times, I find myself longing for change. In the bad times, I fear myself. The bridge while doesn't have any lyric, is one of the most powerful vocal moments in Gaga's entire career. It is meaningful in its meaning and musically. As Gaga says, it represents a cry for freedom, to break free from that which inhibits and haunts us. If that doesn't encapsulate life, I don't know what does. This movie is about the inevitable damage and disappointment that human beings do to themselves and those they love. This movie is about wanting to be better for those they love, and themselves, but failing in doing that, but knowing that despite these it's going to be alright. That loss is not more powerful than the human bravery in our hearts. I think this might be my favourite film of all time, and I think Bradley really just gave a piece of himself to the whole world.
