While I agree about the equivalency, I think in the case of the song she’s focusing heavily on Venus as a planet (to which I still should have specified human names in the title).


“Take me to your planet (to the planet)
Take me to your planet (to the planet)
Take me to your Venus (to the planet)
Your Venus, your Venus (to the planet)”

 

Not to mention the bridge, in which she’s calling out the other planets.

 

Been a cuff touple, a puff bupple, a tough couple of years.
