Should Gaga retire "Paparazzi" from Live Performances?

No. She needs to retire Just Dance, Poker Face, Telephone, and Alejandro first. Maybe then she will finally sing Paparazzi full again  I wished for Chromatica Ball she would have finally pulled a Madonna and stopped singing every one of her hits...alas so many monsters prefer to hear the same bland setlist for eternity instead of something new. In many ways, Gaga has become a legacy tribute act.

I can agree with Telephone retiring, but Alejandro is one of her biggest songs in Europe and I think that it is a highligh of every tour.

Paparazzi is a great song, but Gaga has a lot of other great ones, too.

I'm just concerned because so many of her best-known tracks are 8-12 years old, and are starting to sound dated.

It's well beyond time for more new hits.

but what is problematic (or not?) that Gaga is very versatile; after 2013 till 2020 she didn;t have any dance songs, so there are NOT that vast numbers of hits. I think at this point; in 2020s she still can perform all of her hits; older one and the currents

No I don't think so, it's her song and she has control over it. Its possible that in a way it could feel like that person was taking another thing away from her if she didn't perform the song anymore

And I think she enjoys the song too she was just seen dancing and singing along the other day

There's other songs that should go before Paparazzi tbh.

LoveGame, Alejandro, Telephone, Judas, Yoü and I, you could even make the case that Poker Face would go before Paparazzi.

The only reason the performances are so dark is because the song's subject matter is dark. Paparazzi, and by extension the whole tabloid media, are responsible for the deaths and trauma of a ton of stars and public figures. It'd be weird if she made it sunshine and rainbows

Really?  Alejandro was great at TMB with the blood fountain but I think it's one of the more "meh" bits at every other show. It's just kind of thrown in there sometimes.

It makes sense at the BTWB to be near Americano and Poker Face, the strings are cool after MJH at the artRAVE and gives her a good "bit" to play, it's just randomly placed after Scheiße at the JWT and immediately upstaged by the songs before and after it, and I had to actually use Google to remind myself where it was in Enigma 'cause TEOG before it is so epic and the piano segment is right after it

It might be a hit but it has zero impact on her tour setlists imo and could easily be retired alongside Telephone and LoveGame while losing next to nothing in quality.
