Proof art / pop creations are separated (but also generated by) vile people. They’re really mirroring who we are as their listenings - that is, we’re all people. some ****ed up people have immense talent, so why silence the talent if music is what really lasts? I’m not saying he shouldn’t be held accountable by the justice. But to decide to cancel this or that piece of creation because an involved producer or songwriter or their chef or their friends did this or that, is to be ubiquitously blind to the fact nobody is perfect and we all are part of a certain chain of guilt

Luke is prone to cleverly rip-off older and forgotten songs in a way that isn’t very obvious. This is where part of his success comes from, the subtle familiarities in his songs. He’s kind of a true evil genius, using all of his brain power to skirt the rules and get ahead. He’s one of many who will never be held accountable, it makes me so sad that most have seemed to just accept him again.
