StarstruckIllusion 52,892 Posted April 6, 2021 Share Posted April 6, 2021 I’ve been planning to make a thread of all the Gaga remixes that don’t sound like throwaway club music to just mindless jump around to for weeks, bc they do exist!! These are songs that could have been an alternative official instrumental too, ones that don’t just obviously scream club music. Songs that Gaga could have written her own lyrics over and they’d feel normal. This is the type of stuff I hope is prominent on the Chromatica remix album, not the Purple Disco Machine stuff like all her previous remix albums. It’s fine, but it’s so tried at this point idk. Plus they’d fit in w the potential unreleased songs too Anyway, examples: This Alejandro one that sounds like a cute synthpop bop: (Best example tbh) This Born This Way sounds like it could be a groovy/funky song featuring a bass guitar: and a third and final teas, this one just slaps and has a soca/reggae inspo Note: - All of these are official remixes you can stream on music services - OONTS is the sound of that drum in every club remix ever. It’s boring now. I never heard that BTW remix before and it slaps! the vocals are awful but the instrumental/mixing is sooo good, gives me Born To Be Alive vibes I don't really agree in the sense that I love club/house music and would be fine w remixes like that, but I agree that I want remixesss like fresh new sawngs mama.
