I am not a cat.” Lawyer Rod Ponton’s accidental morphing into a wide-eyed baby cat appears destined to achieve viral immortality. In the manner of good judges everywhere, judge Ferguson sought to use the example of human/feline fallibility as a teachable moment. Especially since most lawyers and judges are older and have a very low grasp on technology, working from home has created so much mess in serious situations like this that I’ve witnessed.
