But whatever way you cut this onion, I think it will end in tears for Elizabeth. I can see no explanation for her actions which doesn't involve her being incredibly stupid. When the cops call to see her, I wouldn't be surprised if they said to her 'Maam, we're not going to put you in jail, but we do recommend that you don't ever leave your house again.
