It would've been single worthy when it dropped as a promo.

If we're lucky we might get at least one more single/video, and Babylon >> SC.

Strung out for another taste

I actually like it - but it´s not my favorite song... although it´s a bit dark, cool and quite catchy.

I´m not sure if it´ll be a hit... maybe because Blackpink is involved and they apparently have a huge fanbase. So in that sense it´s clever to put it out just like rain on me with Ari. And it has potential for a cool video that comes along with it.

I personally hope that she will put out 3 other songs too (or videos) ---> ALICE, BABYLON and FREE WOMAN!

Replay is also one of my favs, but I think replay is a bit "special" and I think this is just for the hardcore fans.. it´s not that commercial I guess... I´m fine with that... as long as I can enjoy her songs, who am I to complain what songs she will release as singles. I can listen to them every day when I want to, so I´m happy with that!

Sour candy is literally one of the better songs on chromatica the way gaga comes in halfway to end all pop bitches in the chorus.                 200.gif

The way the beat SWELLS on blackpink’s parts like you’re going through a disco conduit 200.gif

The song is flirty and fierce and not generic about failed attempts at “coming out of this alive” “i’m not having fun tonight” “lifting me up, flying like a thousand doves”

End us with your wisdom and drown us in your truth tea king!

Yeah it is..and if there’s a music video for it,releasing it around the BP’s online concert would be the best roll out just in time for the hype for the concert and even months after releasing it as a promo single it will be a huge thing between the two fanbases

It's probably not the most "single worthy" song on the album but it deserves a video. Just looking at Blackpink's catalogue, can't imagine how cool it'd be to have the 5 of them in a colorful video like Kill This Love or How You Like That. That collaboration was made to have visuals and they're wasting that opportunity.

No it is not single worthy. It's by war the weakest song on Chromatica and does not deserve the hype nor love it gets. I think it was a cute buzz single to hype the album on release day but it needs to stay a buzz single. It's frankly offensive there is a large part of the fan base clamoring for Sour Candy when masterpieces like Replay, Babylon, and Alice are begging for a proper single treatment.
