The problem is no one on the anti-Gaga team has presented any legitimate evidence to prove their point. Lack of singles, no promo for the lead, no real WW tours etc. Those are all facts, not « false claims » like you said. And I never called her lazy. Her priorities have shifted from music, and the treatment of the last 2 eras fit that narrative without distorting anything.
Hansgruber 1
Been watching these threads for months and what is so interesting is both sides are right and both sides are wrong. The Little Complainers What They Got Right: Gaga has moved beyond being a popstar and is never going back to how she used to be. Chromatica wasn’t a return or a restart; it was a goodbye. What They Got Wrong: That she lost her passion, her team is garbage and she doesn’t care. The Cupcakes What They Got Right: Chromatica is a deeply personal album and did mean a lot to her. The pandemic ruined the plans she had. What They Got Wrong: Over blowing the pandemic excuse, and BLM to defend the lack of engagement. This was always meant to be a minimal short era. Gaga could have pivoted but chose not to. A blessing in disguise really for her. TLDR: Ya’ll are right and wrong and should move onto to news things and appreciate what you have. The only thing constant in life is change.
Guest
6 hours ago, Delulu Rogers said: It has nothing to do with proving herself. Nobody is questioning her past achievements. The passion, drive, and effort have all been lacking for 2 eras and it really shows. She didn’t promote the leads for Joanne or chromatica, we haven’t had more than 2 singles or an actual WW tour since ARTPOP, each video or promo piece we get is followed by months of silence, no communication, she’s become that Hollywood celebrity she claimed she didn’t want to become etc. Since 2016 she really has been doing the bare minimum for her music career, an album every 2-3 years with max 2 singles and a couple of videos. It really seems like a chore for her now. Of course it’s going to be disheartening for her fans that expect the whole experience that she built her career on. Imo it’s completely justifiable to say she had lost interest or passion for music We also can’t be sure of what they had planned. It’s easy to say lots of stuff was suppose to happen when you can’t actually prove anymore. Let’s not forget SL was released pre pandemic and all we got were radio interviews. Obviously they had some stuff planned but I hardly think it was BTW 2.0 or like a blockbuster movie like Bobby said I have to disagree on the fact that her music feels forced, with Joanne she carried the message of that album through to the very end. It meant a lot to her you can tell, I think she just doesn't want to be classed as a pop musician anymore which is understandable. Chromatica was meant to be a short era anyways, so I think in the future we will get a different sound. In terms of Gaga being a hollywood celebrity, she really isn't as which celebrity wears huge heels and neon wigs?! She is still Gaga, just different than 10+ years ago like most humans are! I hope we get a mini era next year, but I'm still happy with what we got. To each there own I guess.

While that could be true, with Chromatica I do not think it's the case. As usual some Monsters with an insufficient skill for comprehension believe that when Gaga said in interviews that Bloodpop made her record, she meant it literally as in it was all his idea. In all the interviews she's done for the album this year, I've heard a passion in her voice about the music I haven't heard since Born This Way. If she was not interested in music anymore she wouldn't have bothered making a sonically perfect pop record. This sent me
