I hope we can help drive out FL voters. I've been volunteering with a few groups on the I4 corridor and in my county doing demonstrations and tagging along to go door to door.

The Hispanic vote that Trump is winning is in South FL though so...I'm no help there

Still plenty of growth.  Like @JusKeepBreathin Florida Latino's are different than say... Texas Latino's.  So it's probably a but higher if you exclude Florida.  Perhaps maybe his poor performance in Nevada should've been a warning to this.  Plenty of time to grow, plenty to go for the election.

Yes. It's really terrible. Almost every Trump commercial on Latin TV in Miami is about socialism and that Biden will raise taxes. 

Some of the ads a very deliberate in their lies. There is part where Biden says, "if you vote for me I will raise your taxes,"  but he is talking about raising taxes for the 1%. They conveniently leave that part out.

The phrase "Democratic socialist" was a terrible idea. It marries us with socialism and those people only understand the autocratic socialism they were forced to live with.

I live in a Latino plurality community (1/3 Latino, 1/3 white, 1/5 black and the rest other) in central Fl and there are so many trump flags, signs, masks, cars with flags and stickers, places selling trump merch. Etc. Ive seen only 1 Biden Harris sign to date in this area.

Voters find Joe to be a moderate. Latinos are not leaving Biden because of socialism (not statistically significant and if anything limited to older cubans). The fact is that this election is not a policy based election & until Biden goes to FL with a clear message on jobs and healthcare, they will stick with trump. The socialist line is from MSNBC. 

Bernie won the Cuban vote in Florida primary. I dont think socialism is the reason Biden is performing abysmally compared to Clinton with latinos. Biden didnt start early in the primary and hasnt made Latinos a priority until now if at all. You reap what you sow and we are seeing what happens when you leave voters on the table.

I think I see what's going on. I assume Hornet is mainly gay white men (in the US) while other Lgbtq polls have a broader and more diver group. In the same article: 

"Recent polling also suggests that most LGBTQ voters will oppose Trump. A June 2020 poll of more than 30,000 registered voters conducted by the technology company Morning Consult found that 53 percent of LGBTQ-identified voters favored Biden and only 20 percent favored Trump."

For the sake of time let's assume that I am wrong and you are right (I saw the cuban vote somewhere but just don't have time to go digging for it now and it very well could have been exit polling that wasn't accurate). 

1. Still doesn't change the fact that Biden campaign didn't prioritize Latino voters in the primary as a whole. 

2. That has continued into the general election campaign. 

3. The reality is Biden is doing much worse than Hillary with Latino voters in multiple states. 

4. Because of 3. this election is even going to be a fight because all Biden has to do is prevent Trump from winning Florida and he can lose 2 out of the 3 midwestern states and still win. 

Biden isn't going to lose Florida because "socialism." Even in the best of times Florida is a R +1.5 state and the only times democrats when is because they've changed the electorate by turning out people who don't normally vote. When Biden is underperforming with the voters he is underperforming with, it means he's just not going to win Florida.

The latest poll shows Biden in the lead in FL. He lost some ground and gained some ground but what is really scary is today's Ron Desantis Law and Order announcement. It like completely overshadows any good news of Biden I'm FL polls and it prays on the fears of looting an rioting which isn't even a thing in FL. At least not down here in Miami, is it different where you are?

I made another thread. 

 

I live in the I-4 corridor in the middle of Trump country. You can't go anywhere without seeing it on either face masks, cars, flags, signs, etc etc. Maybe it's where we are located that makes us feel the way we do. Based on what I see, I see a FL win for Trump. I could be wrong and am happy to be wrong in this case but I don't see it from where I'm at.
