Chromatica is a place in her mind where she’s able to escape from the pain of reality. It’s that other world where no one thing is greater than another but at the same time this other world where pain somewhat doesn’t exist for her or creates a semblance of pushing through the trauma and pain. I don't think I see it as appropriation but I'm neither Armenian nor Indian so I can't really speak on it. I know Eastern philosophies are more widespread and some people from different countries have different views on what is appropriation and what's not. It doesn't seem that she's using anything in a harmful way but I know it can be a problem when a white individual uses someone else's culture for gain or for THEIR narrative. There is so much in this video about her trying to process a traumatic event in her mind any how medication can help or make it worse. Coming down with the umbrella was the health care providers from the helicopter. The white pope was holding a snake over the red cross on her shirt which it showed as part of her uniform. They were outside a Armenian theater performance which help inspire alot of the design and set. The cone to the mouth was them giving oxygen through a mask. The blue box hat guys were police directing traffic and keep scene secure. The red mask and red braclet she wears in the beggining are injuries. They lay a blanket on head pillow guy and then he has one in the car. The pillow was the air bag. Honestly watch the last part when she wakes up in the real world over and over then rewatch the video at the start and you'll see all the interaction hdr "mind" does through the trauma.
