The US just had extremely different tastes in music right now. Rap and trap are primarily what's taking up the charts so I am not sure if it's a fair situation.

I think it's just more funny to us because Gaga is an American based artist who does better overseas :laughga:

Lot of Popstars are more succesful Overseas. Rihanna has always been more succesful here then in the usa and when she tours here she plays a mix stadiums and arenas instead of arenas only in the us. I would say p!nk is also more succesful here and even more succesful in Australia.
Back in the day Tina Turner was also bigger here then in the USA and also played stadiums here and only arenas in the USA.

Been saying that! Didn’t you learn when bad romance didn’t go #1? :saladga:

Tik Tok is kinda the better pop song tho. :firega:

OT: the song did great first week tho.

It's really hard for bangers to have longevity. so it ain't doing that bad.

Could've been worse. Be grateful.

No because for a song that debuted at #1 in the US and Pop radios still not willing to play it, how can I be grateful for that. It had so much more potential in the US. Same with Shallow

I have no idea how the American charts work. The most iconic songs sometimes never even charted in the States.

"Rain On Me" by the iconic Lady Gaga and talented Ariana Grande was released a few months ago.

Judging by these statistics, do you agree that the US has no taste whatsoever?

Weeks in the top 10 worldwide

Canada - 14 weeks

Croatia - 13 weeks

Belgium - 10 weeks

Scotland - 10 weeks

Slovenia - 10 weeks

Australia - 9 weeks

Ireland - 9 weeks

Netherlands - 9 weeks

United Kingdom - 9 weeks

etc...

---------BARRIER-----------

United Flop - 4 weeks

Thoughts??

Yep. Awful taste in music and presidential candidates

It is deeply sad that you can smash everywhere but flop in the US and you'll be considered a flop. If Brazil charts were relevant, Judas would have been considered Gaga's signature hit.

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
