Speaking to Ramos for Interview, Bradley said: ‘That awards season stuff is a real test. It’s set up to foster that mentality. ‘It’s quite a thing to work through, and it’s completely devoid of artistic creation.’ The 45-year-old continued: ‘It’s not why you sacrifice everything to create art, and yet you spend so much time being a part of it if you’re, in quotes, “lucky enough to be a part of it.” ‘It’s ultimately a great thing because it really does make you face ego, vanity, and insecurity. Biagio2103 6,225 Posted September 6, 2020 Share Posted September 6, 2020 Though it's true some of the greatest actors (directors, producers, musicians, etc) ever don't have Oscars, this makes him sound kind of bitter, since he hasn't won an Oscar or a Golden Globe, yet he attends to every single award show almost every year. I know where he comes from, I remember him saying he felt bad for not being nominated for Best Director with ASIB back in 2019, so I guess it does affect him someway, but that's not a reason to say the awards are utterly meaningless lol I'm only good at being bad Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
