The comments congratulating are so obviously filled with pity that it reads worse than it should considering how the last single to have any sort of success from the album was about a year ago, this is decent placement. i think people are fake for a different reason. a ton of people were dragging the singles and body of work but also have the audacity to say “yes top 5!” so it’s not necessarily pity, but it is indeed fake. I'm annoyed that official sales haven't been confirmed though. It's like, if you don't debut at #1, they don't bother reporting your sales. Witness debuted at #6 with just over 16k back in the day so I doubt this one sold anywhere near that. Looking at international positions, they're even worse. Coupled with the mixed reviews, this is just so sad. She may not be the best artist in the world but she didn't deserve a downfall this harsh. Sure, the album as a project is a bit messy, almost like a mixtape but the songs are good, and some are great. I'm not too surprised by the album's chart performance so far considering the fact that the singles were far from being massive. It's obvious that the critics are biased for some reason though. She deserves love, respect, and expressions of hope for a bright future, not hate, dragging, and writing her off. I'm rooting for happiness and success for her and can't wait to attend her next tour.
