BeIIadonna 5,480
1. Born This Way - Quality, videos, etc 2. Joanne - Strong vocals and I really like the meaning behind it. It... might not help that it was the first era I actually got to witness(.mp3), but.. it's good. Really good, I skip nothing. 3. The Fame Monster - Just good all around. It only gets to third because Monster isn't that good and depending on the day I may be skipping the last two tracks. Which... yeah that's already leaving 5 tracks, but those 5 tracks are pretty amazing, no? 4. ARTPOP - I... don't know what to say about ARTPOP. I just like it; it's fun, and the productions are some of my favourites. That said it... also doesn't reach the highs the three albums above have, and it still has a few skips (looking at you Do What U Want & X Dreams) here and there. 5. The Fame - Well, this is a little bit surprising even to me. The Fame is my second least favourite album she's released, and I have quite a few problems with it track wise & quality wise. I just don't like a lot of the tracks- they're either just a bit repetitive to the point it starts to bore me, or some of the tracks should've remained in the vault (hi Again Again, hello RDF, and hey Brown Eyes!) because they just don't fit the sound the other tracks give. That said, I appreciate what it has done for her career, and without it we probably wouldn't have anything else that she's done afterwards. That's where it actually gets fifth in my placement, apart from Paparazzi & a few other songs on it just being great. 6. Chromatica - I like the lyrics, and the visuals have been mostly amazing (more on the mostly later). But I really don't like how the production was handled, and it all sounds just a little bit dated. The album also has the most skips for me; namely Stupid Love*, Sour Candy, Plastic Doll, Enigma, Love Me Right and 911... and that is only for today. Yes, it changes pretty much daily. These are just the ones I skip frequently, or have done since my first listen. *Only in its album form. It just... doesn't fit where it is, and shouldn't even be on the album tbh. Lord Temptation 11,209
Honestly, Gaga’s albums are unrankable. I can only qualitatively, but not quantitatively, describe their importance to my life, rather than rate them on quality. So here goes: ARTPOP (the album of my life) Born This Way (the album that made me love Gaga) Joanne (the album that made me understand rock music and country) Chromatica (the album that made me realise Gaga will always be Gaga and will always inspire me) The Fame (the album that made me notice Gaga) The Fame Monster (the album that made me respect Gaga) Cheek to Cheek (the album that made me realise Gaga will never stop surprising me)
