Lol- I read your posts. And I corrected you. Your condescending response obviously shows the weakness in your argument that you are still trying to push the false narrative of the definition of racism is only systemic racism. Racism is a broad spectrum, and you are narrowing it to fit YOUR narrative.  Maybe you need to reread your own responses and rethink your approach to how you push your ideals. What you say amour systemic racism and white people in America is correct. What you say about racism and white people is incorrect.

No, I'm just tired of repeating myself. Your definition is only partial and irrelevant.

You seem concerned about my "narrative" - might I ask what yours is? Just to correct people about how whites can experience racial prejudice without offering anything else to the conversation? Truly curious.

also, you don’t get to label your argument as “truth” if you don’t even grasp the definition of the term.

Who's condescending now, Ms. NC? Keep fighting the good fight I guess. :selena:

I told you want my narrative was. It’s the same as your’s When it comes to systemic racism, which is a form of racism, but not racism as a whole. . I dissagreed with YOUR understanding of what racism is. Again, you’re changing the definition of racism and masking it with racial prejudice to push your narrative. I am strongly against people changing definitions to fit Or push a certain personal perspective. That’s why I have an issue with you. You can throw out phrases like “white fragility” - which yes also exists. By don’t weakly and incorrectly throw terms like that around just because you’re mad that someone corrected you.

So many white people worried about "truth" and "correctness" when it comes to defending their own race. :bear:

How is it defending our own race? :billie: We’re just correcting your weird ass theory, but you’re the one saying we want to feel oppressed or dumb **** like that. :billie:

I'm literally not making this stuff up. I have sources but if that's what you want to believe, by all means. Go back and read some of my earlier posts if you care to, it's all there, but I'm not doing any more work for you.

You worry about my argument, feelings, and responses quite a bit. How sweet. You're the one that seems mad, sis. I have nothing more to say, but hope you can challenge your own perspective a little.

Yea, call my argument in which I include citations a "weird ass theory." Great use of your brain.

: a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

This is the definition of racism, because there seems to be confusion here.

You can’t define racism solely based on one type of racism- it is a super broad term. The type of typical racism in Americais not the same type of racism found in other countries like China or South Korea for example.

if one person feels that their race is superior to another for any given reason, they are being racist- this is the most direct form of racism. Now- we can break it up into many categories, such As systemic racism, but you can’t change the actual definition.

Riggttthhhtttt. You’ve done zero work for me, as I discredited you and called you out on your delusions of truth/fact versus narrative. But do you, lol.

Better than yours at least. :ohwell: You’re the one who can’t seem to have a normal conversation without getting all passive aggresive when someone disagrees with you.

I don’t know who the “all y’all” part is referring to but I’m not saying whites don’t experience racism all together.

However, they will never experience what Blacks and any other minority has experienced when it comes to racism, racial injustice, etc.

I wasn’t replying to you lol I was talking about white users trying to say white people can’t experience racism which is incorrect. Of course the level of racism that POC experience compared to white people is drastically different, I’m not denying that & I think anyone that does deny that is blind to reality or willfully ignorant.

Don't worry about my understanding of the terms - maybe focus on the ignorance in this thread instead. You really think you made a point, huh? It's about challenging and calling out this type of sh*t, but look at you invalidating that and trying to warp my intentions like it's about getting a "gold star." Gross.

You & everyone saying white people can’t experience racism are part of the ignorance. If you’re going to claim white people can’t experience racism then you need to be informed enough to define the type of racism. Clearly you want to come off as woke but don’t actually care enough to research the different types of racism that exist because if you did then you’d understand that anyone can experience racism & wouldn’t be virtue signaling through misinformation. There is individual racism, institutional racism & structural racism. ANYONE can experience individual racism. If you’re truly an ally then please educate yourself. @NCgaga clearly tried to help you on that front but you’re too delusional to humble yourself & accept that you’re wrong. “ChAlLeNgE yOuR oWn PeRsPeCtIvE” by taking in the correct information people are giving you so you can be an actual ally.EF44-D432-DDCB-4-EA0-BE2-F-F0-F0-C595534

No ones talking about oppression, we’re talking about racism. Individual racism is different from institutional & structural. Admitting that white people can experience racism won’t make you racist :ohwell:

Anyone can be victim of racism and this is not matter of opinion. All the African and Middle Eastern countries and some Asian countries like China support extremely reggressive and intolerant policies. Racism against white people is a common problem in many of these countries. South Africa and Zimbabwe are some obvious examples. Also, black supremacists exist and they are no different than white supremacists.

North America and Europe aren't that racist, in fact, they are still the most tolerant places in the world. Saying that white people can't be victims of racism is objectively false statement and a blatant lie. It's like saying that black people can't be racist towards Asians or that Asians can't be racist against black people.

This is a great video about the subject:

This is fake news used to help white people feel like they're more victimized than black and brown people who actually face the effects of racism everyday. And it's worked.

How about not try to keep spreading this lie and look up what racism actually is.

It's not feelings or hate against a group of people based in color of skin. That's prejudice and discrimination when it crosses into actions.

When white people control nearly all the wealth in the US, and hold most if not nearly all the power, racism doesn't exist for white people :smh:

Racism is a system in which a group of people (white people in this world) systematically have power and access to power and wealth disproportionately to other groups, and who use that power to oppress those groups and hold on to their own power.

Structural or systemic racism is the way in which white people have set up systems and structures in society to benefit white people at the expense of minorities, and reproduce this reality by policing those not in the group of power and protecting those who are.

See: white supremacy in policing, where they shoot and kill unarmed Black people, but allow a white boy who just murdered people to walk down the street next to police with a rifle;

see also, redlining practiced by the US government to keep Blacks out of white neighborhoods and keep Black communities housing undervalued;

Also see the rampant, racist disparities in our criminal justice system.

I could go on and on but you see my point. You're very clueless and think of racism in a very reductive, not nuanced at all view that completely ignores what racism actually is.

Ok, but why are you only considering the Western culture in your definition of racism?

Are you implying the US, Europe and other mainly white countries are the only countries that matter when talking about racism? You know that Asian countries have by far the highest percentage of population of the world, right? Racism can and does exist towards anyone of any race or ethnicity. It just varies based on the context such as location or culture.

I do understand that systemic racism is something that is exclusive against black people (and other non-white races) in most Western countries. Denying that would be delusional and insensitive.

On the other hand, racism by its very definition can and does happen against anyone of any race, whether it's from a white person towards a black person, from an Asian person to a white person, or even by a black person to a black person. It's still racism if your only motivation for prejudice is the other person's race, or your own conceptions of the stereotypes associated with that person's race. Simple.

All types of racism are awful and wrong in every sense, and obviously systemic racism deserves the most attention when solving society's problems because they actually affect oppressed people's lives on a daily basis, and denies them of protection by their own government. However, racism doesn't exist only in the form of systemic racism, and I'd argue that any racism towards a certain race generates racism back towards the race that was racist first.
