Can he actually do this? Wouldn't this go against the constitution which the GOP loves to shove down our throats.

Wake up. This is why we wants to destroy the United States Postal Service.

I suggest to check monthly if you are registered to vote if you live in a red state. And vote EARLY. I’m voting in October when the polls open.

Yet send kids back to school and open up all the states even with  COVID running rampant.  Well whatever I’ll risk COVID ( I wear a mask, hell I’ll wear a hazmat suit haha) to get this asshat out besides he can’t delay the election he has to get Congress approval to do that and that is NOT happening.

REALITY

The President has no power to move the election, I believe. It has to be Congress that decides that, and they're not letting that happen.

EDIT - But also: vote. Vote in November, and vote for Biden, especially if you're in a swing state or a red state like Texas that has a very legitimate shot of flipping blue. Please, please vote!

Not one bit surprised. He's trying to stay there as long as he can.

There was one question I hoped I would hear asked after the 2016 election, but I don't think it ever happened

'Mr President, in view of the fact that the election was rigged, when are you planning on rerunning it ?'

My earlier comment aside, regardless of whether we have an election or not, his term is up in January 2021. Thus, if we're unable to hold an election, guess who our new president will be?

He knows the polls are low, he knows the economy is in deep ****, and he knows that this is on him. Pathetic.

God help America. :saladga:. How much does everybody want to bet that he'll say it was fraudulent if he doesn't win. He has to make it all about himself

SCOTUS won’t let you do that clown :triggered:

That's why he's been parading this mail-in voting excuse for months. Setting up an excuse not to accept the results.

Why is BBC so dramatic about this like "breaking news?" It's just another dumb tweet

Because political analysts have been anticipating something like this for awhile. It's common in the first few years of democracy's forcibly becoming dictatorships

Honestly, If that is the case I would prefer Biden by a mile & y'all already know how I feel about Biden by now.

He is obviously scared that younger voters and those who are practicing social distancing will turn in votes. He knows his loyal voters will still show up despite safety concerns.
