Florida death rate will easily look better than New York because more of the mild cases have access to tests, which it didnt happened in New York in march and april. That's why I think that people who want to make comparasions between states should look at deaths by population numbers. I’m not going to restaurants, movie theaters, amusement parks, gyms... Going to the beach is no different from going on a walk outside. I keep my distance, I wear a mask on the tight walk ways, and I leave if I feel uncomfortable. The conditions in the beach (I.e. windy, hot) are not favorable to virus spread. Deaths will be down, due to the factors I listed. (even hospitalizations to a smaller extent) If hospitalizations continue to rise, they will overburden the system, and deaths will rise. There is virtually no risk at the beach and in fact it is good to be outside versus inside. This is what the science tells us.
